Replying slightly late because I had to go through this paper you shared.

Yea, the message is the same.

Zero is good to have.

But zero CAC doesn’t mean there is nothing inside arteries and complex decisions like

deferring statins should be made cautiously, considering age, sex, and overall risk profile.
