The Real Power of Zero (and Why It Doesn’t Last Forever)
Interesting read thanks. Any comments on the below?
Zero Coronary Artery Calcium Score Desirable, but Enough? 2020

"About one-fourth to one-third of the total incident cardiovascular disease (CVD) events occur in those with a CAC of zero"
Replying slightly late because I had to go through this paper you shared.
Yea, the message is the same.
Zero is good to have.
But zero CAC doesn’t mean there is nothing inside arteries and complex decisions like
deferring statins should be made cautiously, considering age, sex, and overall risk profile.
